ASHLEY SCHUMAN, FNP-C

Ashley is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and founder of Beach Medical Aesthetics. She has been practicing aesthetic medicine since 2019. Ashley has also practiced in Neurology in which she manages Chronic Migraines and TMJ through the use of Botox injections. She served as an Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for many years. As an RN she worked in ICU, Cardiology and Orthopedics. Ashley’s creativity, love for design, fashion, cosmetics, skincare and conducting medical procedures is what led her to her passion of Aesthetics. It gives her joy and happiness to not only enhance beauty from the outside, but to also enhance confidence within. Her knowledge, skills and many years of experience in medicine gives her the ability to provide high quality aesthetic outcomes while educating and maintaining utmost safety at all times.

Ashley lives in Wilmington with her husband Zach and beautiful twins Avery Blair & Everette. She loves tennis, dancing, golf, and going to the beach – but most of all she loves her family, friends and patients!

BERNADETTE TARANTINO, PA-C

Bernadette Tarantino is a certified physician assistant with over 10 years of experience in varying clinical fields of medicine. She graduated from Mercy College in New York City in 2014 and spent the first 6 years of her career in Wilmington, NC specializing in Gastroenterology affiliated with New Hanover Regional Medical Center. In the last few years she decided to shift her career towards her passion for aesthetics. This transition has allowed her to combine her love for medicine and helping people with creative artistry. Bernadette is trained in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and skin rejuvenation technology. Her primary focus is helping patients to achieve cellular skin health by developing customized clinical grade skin care regimens and performing laser resurfacing treatments.

Bernadette is committed to providing the safest and highest quality health care to her patients, while helping them develop confidence and true happiness in their own skin. She resides in Wilmington with her husband, son and two rescue dogs. She values focusing on the people and things that bring her joy in life, including spending quality time with her family and friends, cooking, singing, playing piano, beach walks, meditation and hot yoga.

SARAH BARNES, FNP-C

Sarah Barnes was born and raised in Wilmington, NC. She is a certified family medicine nurse practitioner with 6 prior years of experience as an RN, she began her nursing career at New Hanover Regional Medical Center where she specialized in cardiovascular nursing. She also worked several years as a travel nurse working in the areas of orthopedic trauma, neurology, and cardiac step down.

Sarah has always had a passion for aesthetics and skin care, and she is a firm believer in aging gracefully. She is certified in neurotoxin such as Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane, and CO2 laser skin resurfacing. She prides herself in carefully assessing each of her clients and formulating an individualized plan to help them achieve a natural, youthful, refreshed look. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing on the boat, reading a
good book, or painting. Sarah is also currently working toward her Master’s Degree in Nursing and will graduate as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023.

SIARA DENICOLA

PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

Siara has a background in education, organization and personal planning . She is also very passionate about learning all things aesthetics. Siara will be the first and last face you see at our office. As our patient care coordinator, her primary focus is scheduling appointments, billing and answering questions you might have about your upcoming appointment and post treatment care. She cares deeply for our patients and strives to ensure the utmost patient satisfaction. She lives in Hampstead with her husband, Justin and son, Banks. She loves all things coffee, beach and skin care.

ESTHETICIAN/ACNE SPECIALIST

Holli Hager is a licensed master cosmetolagist and accomplished business owner with 25 years of experience in the beauty industry. She has successfully operated her own hair and skincare business, serving clients in New York, Miami, Chicago, Florida and Washington, D.C. Holli is celebrated for her expertise in advanced skincare and certification as a Acne Specialist as well as hair treatments and her ability to create personalized beauty regimens. Her dedication to excellence and passion for the industry have earned her a loyal clientele and a stellar reputation across multiple major cities.

Laina Nielsen

Registered Nurse

Laina Nielsen – Laina is a Registered Nurse, originally from Ohio. After graduating with her bachelors in science of nursing from Hiram College she went on to work at the Cleveland Clinic as an Oncology Nurse for 3 years. She then spent 3 years travel nursing before moving to Wilmington with her boyfriend and their Wolfadoodle, Sophia Spaghetti. Once here, she decided to pursue her longtime interest in aesthetics to help people feel their best.

Laina loves spending her time reading, going to the beach with her dog, and traveling as much as she can.
